We have talked at length of the Finest Ego platform both here and on air and have featured many all of the compilations, spanning; Japan, Russia, United Kingdom/Ireland and Australia/New Zealand. So time it was to feature a mix from this fine outlet, in this case as mixed by Laurent Fintoni, an individual with hands in many a pie, including; Turntable Radio, Rhythm Incursions and the compiling of both the Finest Ego: United Kingdom/Ireland and Nihon Kizuna comps (with the latter raising funds for the disasters in Japan). Another mention has to go to Cru the Dynamic, real name Steve Bryant, a Brooklyn-based drummer and producer (also involved with Ghostly International projects). We featured three tracks from his latest project called ‘30 Days of Night’, in which he released a track each day over a 30 day period. The impressive release stood out with a fresh and diverse meshing of hip hop, (future) beats and drum’n’bass.
